Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills and Piney Woods of East Texas, far away from the ordinary big city hustle and bustle, Plum Thicket is home to my folk art one of a kind dolls, epatterns and supplies.

Most of my dolls are made of painted muslin that has been sketched, stitched, stuffed, painted with acrylics, oils, chalks and/or artists pencils, aged and sanded for an old look and feel. Other mediums I work with include, paperclay, polymer clay, paper mache, porcelain, ceramic and my own *secret recipe* that is baked in the hot Texas sun.

From painted concrete floors, to restoring old furniture, to making my favorite dolls, I am always doing something creative. Come back often to see what sparks my imagination next!  ~Edna~
